Alkermes | 852 Winter Street – Waltham, MA

Over the past decade Siena has completed multiple laboratory, office, and base building upgrades in Waltham for the global pharmaceutical firm Alkermes. In 2020-21, Siena completed two projects, including partial conversions of three separate spaces within their second floor Tissue Culture Laboratory, as well as 1,000 sf Compound Storage Alterations. Projects involved demolition, existing space reconfigurations, and installation of new lab casework and equipment. Work occurred in a facility with active science and during the pandemic, requiring additional coordination to minimize work disruptions and maximize health and safety.
