GlaxoSmithKline Development Offices

Originally constructed in 1916, a converted factory space at 196 Broadway in Cambridge is now home to GlaxoSmithKline’s R & D worldwide business development offices. This fast-track project successfully preserved the building’s historic feel while implementing high-tech custom finishes, including construction of a new state-of-the-art conference room. The building’s original hardwood flooring and exposed brickwork were also salvaged and preserved. This new workspace further supports GSK’s research and development of new medicines to treat and prevent disease.
