Gong Cha Kiosk at South Station | Boston, MA

Siena completed renovations for Gong Cha, a tea drink franchise located in a 500 sf kiosk at Boston’s South Station. Plans by Dyer Brown called for the reconfiguration of the existing kiosk to accommodate the new space in the food court. Construction involved installation of all new equipment, including electrical and plumbing connections, and a complex bow vent system. Work required coring through the counter for connections, as well as additional coordination to connect with the building’s existing plumbing. With South Station being the second busiest in all of New England, the five week schedule was coordinated closely to minimize public access in the busy station, including some off-hour work.
