Campus Lab | Greater Boston
Siena recently completed the renovation of a university lab where researchers study the evolution and impact of venom across species – blending wet and dry lab science in a single, dynamic environment. This 5,000 SF transformation on the first floor of the campus’ Biological Labs Building includes:
✔️ 1,000 SF office area with open student seating, faculty offices, and flexible collaboration spaces
✔️ An interconnected 2,800 SF lab suite, complete with open research zones, tissue culture and imaging rooms, and specialized seawater and fume hood systems
✔️ Shared amenities like a kitchenette, meeting room, and lounge/wellness area designed for balance and connection
Working closely with the campus’ facilities and end users team, Siena ensured construction progressed smoothly with minimal disruption to ongoing research and maximum safety on the active campus.
