MIT Campus Building 66 | Cambridge, MA

Siena created two new lab rooms in MIT’s Department of Chemical Engineering Department to accommodate a new faculty hire. The 2,500 sf project consisted of architectural upgrades, MEPs, and Fire Protection. New lab requirements called for installation of lab benches, fume hoods, ductwork and ventilation equipment, millwork, and cabinets. Our team collaborated closely with the building’s facilities team to minimize disruptions as active construction occurred during the academic semester.
