We believe building spaces that care for people – especially students far from home – matters. Creating a space that feels calm, safe, and supportive is just as important as getting the technical details right.

Siena Construction recently completed a 3,000 SF interior renovation of a Student & Occupational Health Center on a major university campus in Greater Boston.

Thoughtfully designed by isgenuity LLC and BR+A Consulting Engineers, Siena renovated the center to support students’ physical and mental health. The space includes reception and waiting areas, counseling offices, exam rooms, lab and blood collection spaces, and dedicated staff work areas.

Siena’s Project Team Alex Testa and Areej Siddiqui brought their experience working on active, occupied campuses, with a strong focus on:

✔️ Safety and security for students, staff, and visitors
✔️ Careful coordination and scheduling with campus facilities teams to minimize disruption to learning and clinical operations
✔️ Collaboration with the design and facilities teams to meet code requirements

A health center isn’t just another campus building – it’s often where students go when they’re stressed, sick, or navigating their health on their own for the first time. We’re proud to have helped build this space that will support student wellness on campus for years to come.
