Karl-2

Siena Construction is pleased to welcome Karl Halpin to our team as a Project Superintendent. As Superintendent, Karl manages onsite field operations to plan, supervise and evaluate construction personnel work. He coordinates field forces, anticipates labor and material issues, prevents unnecessary delays, and oversees site safety procedures.

Karl brings fifteen years of construction experience – having been involved in multiple aspects of the business as an MEP Coordinator, Superintendent, and Electrician – to his role as Superintendent.

Project highlights during Karl’s tenure as Superintendent at Gilbane include: Mugar Infrastructure and Tilly Woods Lab at Northeastern University; Quincy High School; Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital; Southcoast Hospital; and corporate tenant fit outs for Rockpoint Group, Google, EMC, and State Street Bank. Additionally, Karl supervised and performed electrical upgrades as an Electrician for Spectra Electric (Boston); as an Electrical Foreman for MPE Electrical (Bronx, NY); and as the Electrical Manager/Director for Halpin Brothers (Dublin, Ireland).

Siena’s President Terrence Hayes strongly believes Karl’s professional priorities and achievements complement Siena’s goals.

“It’s an exciting time for Siena as we continue to grow,” Terrence said. “Karl is a great addition to our expanding team of experienced field professionals. He is energetic, personable, and has a proven history of excellence in site supervision, always acting with the client’s best interests and project goals in mind. I’m excited to welcome Karl to our team.”

The addition of our new superintendent marks a period of continued growth for Siena as we expand our project workload with jobs for new clients, while maintaining and deepening our partnerships with clients who have returned to us for repeat work.
